Our Support was a Big Relief for People in Need

I joined the Red Cross team during the pandemic. Together we went through quite strange and truly difficult periods and I am happy that during all this time, I was in the absolutely right place. The feeling of being of service and useful for people in need helped me to cope with daily stress and filled me with energy to stay active.

The Support of Red Cross volunteers was a big relief for lonely and vulnerable people. When we visited them with packages of products and sanitary equipment, we felt how happy they were; they expressed gratitude for that we remembered and cared for them.

I was actively involved in the public awareness campaign and I can really tell you that this campaign not only raised awareness; it helped people overcome stress and fear. With the provided materials we informed citizens how to stay safe during the pandemic.
